Is it possible to create Knowledge Check Questions from GIFT file

I can't find a definitive question/answer for Captivate 9 whether it is possible to import KC questions from GIFT files.  

It would be wonderful to be able to simply import the questions rather than having to type them. I definitely need the functionality of KC questions rather than trying to use the normal Quiz questions.

Not possible, I'm sorry. There is only one option to import GIFT, and it will create normal Quiz slides. May I invite you to log a feature request? I totally agree that this would be a great addition, especially since you cannot convert Quiz to KC slides. I explored more differences between those 2 slide types in this article:
