Question

Is it possible to decide where to position subtitles ?

Hi,

I need to use subtitles in my Captivate 9 lessons, but the positions of subtitles defined by Captivate don't fit in my layout. Is it possible to create an object and indicate that subtitles must be displayed in it ? Or is there any solution to choose where to display subtitles in a slide ?

Thanks for your help

Are you talking about 'subtitles' or about Closed Captioning?

Subtitles are in placeholders, which you'll find on the master slides and you can edit those master slides. If you save the theme as a custom theme, that will be the case for all future projects using that theme.

For CC, look at the answer above, it is possible in the present version but you'll have to use some programming.

Not yet, but this has been a requested feature through many versions. You may get your wish in the next major release of the software. If you are on the subscription plan you will get the upgrade when it comes out and then you might get lucky.
