Question

Is it possible to have a specific message come up if a user fails a captivate quiz TWICE?

Hi all,

I have got this problem to solve with Captivate and I wondered if anyone can help me at all.

I am building a quiz and I want the functionality whereby IF a user fails the quiz TWICE, a

specific message comes up informing them of this and advising them to do the course again

as they have a maximum of 2 attempts.

This message ONLY appears if they have 2 failed attempts.

Is this possible by setting variables etc?

Thanks

Quiz level or Question level for the attempts? I suppose Quiz level. How many attempts do you provide in the Quiz, Preferences, in total?

    Hi,

I just have 2 attempts in the Quiz Preferences.

    Thanks

You can use the Fail Grade action (Quiz Preferences, Pass Fail) to achieve this. Create the message in a text container on the score slide, maybe even add a button to jump to the first slide and group both in Gr_FailFB  (just a name).

For the Fail Grade action use the Show action to show that group.
