Is it possible to override CPs total quiz points?

OK. It´s not easy to describe.

I have a project that has quiz slides between normal slides. My client always wanted to have the evaluation of each question directly after clicking the submit button. Similar to what you see when you click in normal cases on the review quiz button on quiz results slide.

I have solved this, by leaving each question via AAs, doing some variable bashing and come back again immediately. It works well. The selected answers are logged, submit and clear are disabled while back and skip are enabled. As intended.

Now comes the problem.

This method works with almost all types of questions. Except for Hotspot. If a hotspot question has more than one attempt and is answered correctly on the first attempt, back and skip no longer work. With only one attempt it works fine. Ok .. so I have twice the identical hotspot question. One for the first attempt and a second (if needed) for the second attempt. If you now answer the hotspot question on the first attempt correctly, you obviously do not come on the second one. What causes that you can not reach 100% accuracy in the clients LMS.

Yes, there is the branch aware option but that does make free navigation through the TOC not work anymore, which is also required by the client. Therefore the question whether it is possible to manipulate score points via AA or something else? Or to highlight the hidden question as answered correct similar to not actual visited slides like TickTOC from Infosemantics does it. Or maybe if someone has another idea?

Ok, enough words.

(using CP 7)

All system variables in the category Quizzing are read only, sorry. I am on

the road, in airport. Once I have access to my PC will track this thread

and if necessary try to find workaround. Personally I always create a

custom hotspot question ,never use the default one.

Thanks for the reply.

I've been thinking that there is no easy and simple solution for the problem although some basic functions are already included in the program.

I do not know if you want to give me the information or can, but how do you create your own hotspot questions? From my perspective there is certainly the opportunity to create them directly in CP in connection with various widgets and a lot of individual effort for each question. Or via Flash. Or is there a widget I do not know that you are using for? I think it is not that easy, right?

Pretty simple: I use shape buttons, they can have any form, can be scored.
