Question

Is it possible to split a video slide in Captivate 6?

Hello,

I would like to record a software simulation by taking into account the loading time for example. Or record a new demo video and slide into.
Place the file .cpvc in .cptx

Is it possible?

Thank you for your help.

Sorry, but I do not see the link between the question and the subject about splitting a video slide? You can split a video and add transitions in the video editor, but you'll not get two video slides. But you could duplicate the video and delete the first part in the original, second part in the duplicate to end up with two video slides.

However it is NOT possible to insert a raw cpvc file into a cptx file at all. However, I wll personally always start with a cptx file, and insert Recording Slide, Video demo to have the video slides in the cptx-file. They will look like a FMR-slide (with red bar in the timeline) and can be edited with the video editor.

I wish I could make a software simulation taking into account the loading time. I can not do it.

So I wanted to know if it was possible to do so? And if not, I wanted to know if I could do a video demonstration that I could get in the slide as software simulation.

Sorry, do not understand the question at all. I explained how to use Insert, Recording slide, video demo. But what do you mean by 'taking into account the loading time'? I'm not a native English speaker, but normally have no issues with understanding questions (look at my profile), but here I'm totally lost.
