Is it possible to use the same content in Captivate and FrameMaker?

I use FrameMaker and Captivate and I believe they are meant for different types of content presentation. Captivate is like PowerPoint, slide-based, suitable for short paragraphs, lists, etc. FrameMaker is like Word, suitable for long paragraphs, content of same topic running into multiple pages.

Now, if you are looking a straightforward procedure where you can import content from FrameMaker, it is not there. Even if you copy-paste content from FrameMaker to Captivate,  formatting, content structuring, etc., in Captivate will be a tedious process.

We have considered getting FM content into Captivate and found that it is not feasible. We now import/ link FM books into RoboHelp and publish outputs.
