Question

Is it possible to wrap 3 language versions of a Captivate module and choose one that will be reported as a complete course?

Hi, I have three versions (3 different languages) of an elearning module. My client wants a unique SCORM file to allow the user to choose the language from a menu. I used the Adobe Multi SCO Packager to do that, and so far so good. But due to the way SCORM works, the LMS expect that all 3 modules are completed to report the course as completed, while I need that the course is completed after the single module chosen by the user is finished.  Does someone has already solved this issue and could explain where and how can I specify that any SCO returning a "completed" status counts as completed in the LMS? Thanks.

Recently I wrote this blog post, in which you'll find a demo of a Quiz with different localisation options:

Branch Aware Quiz - Captivate blog

Be careful: this means that you'll have to include all the slides in the 3 languages in one file. It is possible that the file size will be an issue in that case. Moreover checking Branch aware will prevent all navigation in all slides. That could be a problem as well.

Lilybiri thank you for your reply and for your very interesting demo (as always). Unfortunately putting all three courses in one single project is a problem in that case.

I totally understand, warned about that. I don't know which LMS you are using, but I would first explore the possibilities there. Since I had only experience in college with Blackboard, have no idea if this is possible in your LMS but in BB this could be done.
