Is my upgrade to Captivate 9 automatic?

I currently have captivate 8 and pay 19.99/month.  I understand 9 is available.... but it looks as though it is 29.99/month.  Is my upgrade automatic or do i have to purchase Captivate 9?

    Download the trial version. When you log in with the Adobe ID you provided when taking the subscription license, it will be recognized. You can keep CP8 and CP9 on your system if you want. Sorry, but there is no automatic upgrade.
