Question

Is there a standard size for graphics within a captivate file?

I've noticed that when the file size becomes larger I experience issues with the project like animations not working (after working the previous time) slides skipping etc. Some of our graphics within our files are around 3000 KB... is this normal or too large? Any info here would be great!

Best results you'll have both for quality and file size, when you create the graphics in exactly the same size as you'll need them in Captivate. Do not resize in Captivate.  If you are on CP9 use SVG whenever possible, because those are vector-based and have much smaller file size than bitmap images (PNG, JPG).
