Lets say I have a flash video of a character of some sort, and he's talking and I was wondering if there was a way to take count of the number of correctly pressed button pushes in a given time, for example, lets say you want the user to push a button every time that character on screen says the word "the"  are you able to set some kind of time interval connected to a button press that will correctly keep count the number of presses made, and if that total > or = to a certain number or variable,,,, you procede to the the next slide?

thanks for your help!

yes, you can do that.  Are you asking how to do that in Flash or how to do it in Captivate?

I'm really wondering how you would do that? Or perhaps I do misunderstand the question: you want to have a counter that will increment only when the user presses a button in a correct moment, that moment is a word spoken in an audio clip. I would like to know myself how that could be realized, either in Captivate or in Flash???? The issue is not the counter, but the event in the audio clip that should be recognized.
