Question

Is there still no High Fidelity support for Macs in Captivate 7?

I understand Mac users are a smaller sgement of the Captivate user population and won't necesarily have all the features right out of the box, but it's been at least 6 months.

Does anyone know of a viable workaround for importing PowerPoint presentations into Captivate 7?

Thank you.

If you are unable to import PPT files for some reason, then you may want to consider just building in Cp from the ground up.  I personally find this workflow much better all round.

I can import the files, they just look terrible. The font get all screwed up.

I used to run into this problem with Captivate 6 and Macs, but fortunately we had a PC license at that time. Now we're strictly Mac and the lack of the High Fidelity setting/feature makes it pretty much impossible to import PPT.

I did end up just recreating the slides from scratch, but that's obviously less than ideal for larger decks. Thank you for the suggestion though.

I agree with Rod, import a ppt is possible for Captivate (not its best feature IMO)  but if you really have to use that a lot, a PPT-plugin should be a better choice.
