Question

Is there to change the background color of an imported Power Point slide?

Hello,

I imported a few Power Point Slides and was hoping that they would take on the background color of the Master in my Captivate program.   On the slide there are only a few small circles, and in Power Point, the background is white.  WITHIN Power Point, I cannot match the background (gradient) color that I am using in my Captivate project.  As far as I know, Power Point doesnt have gradient colors.  Is there a way to change the color of my Power Point slide in Captivate_6??

Also, it would be great in the objects on imported Power Point slides still showed up as objects in Captivate that you can move around, etc!

No, PPT-slides will be video slides in Captivate.

Since you have so few objects in the PPT slide, why not do everything in Captivate? I almost never use PPT anymore

PowerPoint certainly DOES have gradients.  You'll need to create a rectangle graphic the same size as your PPT slide, give it a gradient fill, and then place it behind all objects on the slide.

I'm with Lilybiri though.  I never use PPT to create courses because there's really no benefit now that you have all the same effects and shapes etc in Captivate.

Hi Rod,

Yes, you are right.. I saw that too.. acutally a lot more options for background colors than Captivate!
