Issue with audio in Camtasia

I opened an mp4 in Captivate to edit it.  This file was converted from a DVD to mp4 using another software.  At home, the mp4 plays with audio, but when I open it in Captivate, there is no audio.  Can someone explain?

Thanks.

I ignore which version you are using, can just give you some tips.

It is recommended to import non-compressed WAV files into Captivate and let CP do the compression when publishing. If you import MP3 files and want to edit something in the audio clip in Captivate, CP needs to create a WAV file to enable that, which often leads to quality loss.

I don't know how you imported it into Captivate, because that depends on the version you are using? And how did you test?

Thanks for your response.  I made an error and tried to delete this question but was inable to.  Wrong program.  I did this in Camtasia. Sorry for the confusion.
