Issue with drag and drop

Hi all, I really appreciate any help that you can proved with the issue I am having. When I  make drag and drop, and after I finish the three-step process and go back to the slide, two things happen. 1)  the Format button under Drag and Drop I properties is blank. 2) the properties window on the right will not close. I deleted my Captivate and installed it once again, and I still have the same issues. Any solution to this issue would be very welcome as I am currently unable to make a drag and interaction.

    Format tab will only show options if you have a drop target selected. Was that the case?

    I don't know why you want to close the Properties panel? Of course I am not using the Newbie UI, but you may need the Properties panel for individual properties on the D&D slide, whereas the Drag&Drop panel is needed for the D&D setup.

    Maybe you could insert (not attach please) some screenshtots to clarify the problems?

    Also tr to clean the Preferences: find the subfolder 'utils' under the installation folder ad run CleanPreferences... while Captivate is closed. That should clear eventual corruption of Captivate.
