    Welcome to our community

Can you please expound on what you mean by displaying as a PowerPoint?

Are you taking a Captivate presentation you have created and you wish to pause at each slide until you are ready? Is that what you mean?

If the answer to that is yes, you need to consider inserting a Button or Click Box object on each slide to keep it paused until you are ready to proceed.

I would like my slides to display like ppt slide show. But for some reason, it just get stuck at first slide and do not navigate to next slide unless I hit the play button on the Preview-Project command.

Also, please do suggest how can I possibly bypass the data entry fields on the same page during slide show. I have an slide in which I have multiple data entry fields. The appropriate data was captured fine when I recorded the movie manually. But then whenever I go to that slide(preview)it do not proceed forward to the display next field.

I hope this makes sense.Let me know if you have any questions..

    Thanks

    YP.

    Hello again

From what you are describing, you recorded a project in Simulation mode. So you probably have Text Entry Box objects on the slide that need to be dealt with.

As the Captivate author, you have full control over what is actually inside the project as well as how the project behaves during playback. Unfortunately there isn't really a simple magick wand that can be waved and make the project do what you want. You will need to roll up your sleeves and make some changes.

If you really don't need Text Entry Box objects on the slide, just delete them and you won't be prompted during playback.

    Cheers... Rick
