Issues activating valid license on same computer.

I had Captivate 9 installed on a laptop that had a hardware issue not worth fixing.

 

Purchased a new laptop and just transfered the old NVM hard drive so I do not have to reinstall anything. 

Now Adobe Captiovate is asking for license key. I pulled my registered License key from my Adobe account. Account doesn't show any Activated Devices, but I get this error message:

I cannot deactive since license on the new laptop with the old NVM hard drive. I called customer support twice, they cannot help me free up this license. (There only option was to sell me a new support/license!)

 

How do I get the Adobe Licensing Server to reset my activation count?

Support for this version ends soon, so I do not have much time.

    The online chat was able to reset my activation. Not sure why phone support was unable to assist.

    Took 10 minutes via chat to resolve!
