Issues with Cap3 and published htm file

Question

I published my file - got my htm/swf/js files and we moved
them to our webserver. We made a link on a page that opens up the
htm file, but when you click on that link, nothing happens - we get
a blank page. However, when I typed in the URL the swf extension it
played. However, when I just click from my hard drive, it plays the
htm file just fine.

I published it using Flash 7 extension.

Anyone help me?

Thanks for all the assistance. We made a brand new folder andput the files in that one and now it's working the way itshould.

Erin,When trying from your web server, are you sure you're linkingto the HTM page produced by Captivate? If you view the source ofthe blank page, do you see the same code as found when viewing thesource of the local page that works?Also, what version of Captivate are you using? It may be thatyou're using an older version that lacks the fix for the "Click toactivate this control" issue with the Flash Player plugin and IE.Another thought would be that perhaps your browser securitysettings are set too high to allow the SWF to be loaded into a webpage, even if it runs fine when accessed directly. Have youverified the problem from another machine or another location, suchas from your home PC?
