Issues with Microsoft Surface Pro Computers and Captivate SCORM Packages?

This may be a one-off, but....

I have been fielding usage issues with a Captivate-developed, SCORM-delivered training package that these users are viewing with Microsoft Surface Pro computers. Issues are that the course is in one case not loading and in another, a drag'n drop quiz question is not displaying properly and the course is not advancing.

 

These may be two isolated incidents, but the common factor of Surface computers prompts me to see if there have been any compatiblity factors with Surface computer ... uhhh..... surfacing....

    FYI I use a Surface Pro do develop with Captivate and never had any problems. That makes me suspect that the problem is not linked with the used laptops. It is my second Surface Pro at this moment, it has an i7 processor and 512GB SSD. Which kind of Surface Pro do you use?

    Yeah, admittedly this Surface question is a stretch, but I did get hammered years back with an audio driver on one model of HP computers causing BSDs on my training - and we all fight the last war, right?

     

    I don't have a Surface, Dell is the standard in my organization, so the Surface is non-standard enough that I thought it might be worth a look at. I am reporting what the users said they were using, as part of my analysis of their failure with the eLearning course.

     

    An issue with the LearnCenter LMS seems more likely, BUT I haven't had any issues reported to me on this training aside from these two Surface users.

     

    The issues got corrected, but I don't know how changing an LMS record from "incomplete" to "not attempted" and allowing the users to start the course over is really resolving the original problems that were reported.

    The issue could be connected with Resume Data.  Ask these users whether they had abandoned the session in the middle of the elearning module and returned to it later to finish and it was on resuming the module that they experienced these issues.  That could be significant.
