Japanese characters help

Question

I have text that has been localized into Japanese that I need
to use in an Captivate quiz. The Japanese characters appear
correctly with the Captivate space, but when I publish, the
Japanese characters turn to boxes and do not appear to be
supported.

Anyone ran into this before? What am I doing wrong?

We've been testing this and it appears that the issue may be related to the language pack installed on the publishing computer. Will post more when verified. Thx!

After testing this, we've determined that the computer that publishes the assessment must have the Japanese language pack installed. These resolved the issue.

Hi there livingI'm not sure if Captivate supports the Japanese characterset. If it does, maybe someone will come along with a bettersuggestion than the kludge I'm about to offer. I hope so!If nothing else works, you could use something like MicrosoftPaint to create an image with the characters you need. Then insertthe image.Cheers... Rick
