Jerky Cursor Movement in Adobe Captivate 9 SWF File

Hello,

I recently created a software demonstration module using Adobe Captivate 9.  It consists of 4 submodules covering basic system functions in one of our products.

When I view the SWF output file through the Adobe Captivate viewer (from within the app), it runs fine.  If, however, I view it in IE, Firefox, or Chrome, there are times when the cursor as it travels across a given screen to make a selection/entry is jerky and the associated mouse click sounds are out of sync or don't sound at all.

I'm currently working on a new Dell Latitude E5470 with Windows 10 and all the latest versions of browsers and flash installed.  When I run the demo and watch the CPU usage (thru the Task Manager) as I hit these rough patches (most of which are towards the end of the module), I can see the CPU usage spike considerably.

Anyway, if you have any ideas or suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Jeff

I found that if I outputted the file as HTML5 as opposed to SWF it took care of all my problems. Evidently, even though I have the latest version of the Flash player installed, it's still problematic.

Lately I also have more and more issues with SWF output.  Changes in browsers are not always friendly for SWF output.

Yes, I tried with three different browsers (per my original post) but to no avail.  Now the module is behaving as expected.
