Question

JSON and SWF files not allowed on SharePoint 2013 server - now what?

Our server administrators have determined that SWF files have too many vulnerabilities and they do not allow JSON files on the server either.  Is there anyway I can publish Captivate 9 files without SWF and JSON files when it will reside on our SharePoint 2013 server?  We do not use an LMS - which is what I've seen many discussions addressing, so that is not an issue.  I'm afraid our only option will be to move our training modules to the local shared drive, which eliminates my automated completion confirmation routine that I developed on SharePoint.

Help!

Thanks,

Kirsten

Until such time as you come up with a better solution, you could downgrade to an earlier release of Captivate 9 (9.0.1 for example). Of course, this might lead to other problems that are solved by Captivate 9.0.2, but it seems like you are between a rock and a hard place. Also, I'm not sure where you can download the earlier releases.
