Keyboard popup on mobile reducing project size

Hi there, I am creating a responsive project in Captivate2019 and am having issues with the native keyboard popping up on the mobile device causing the project to reduce size to fit in the remaining space. This is happening when the user selects a text entry box. I would prefer the keyboard to overlay the project so that it keeps all the proportions. I'm using a Samsung Note8.

If it helps, it's a training package for a mobile app with an interactive test at the end of the modules where the user has to use a simulator to complete tasks on the application. This is where the text entry boxes appear so I need the simulator to continue to fill the Note8 screen even when the keyboard opens.

Any assistance with this would be great, thanks.

Also, make sure your project is scaled for any target devices in mind. For example, open a site like http://howbigismybrowser.com on your target device (Note 8) to figure out exactly the screen size needed. Then rescale your project to these exact dimensions to get better results.

Thanks for your reply Paul, I am using fluid boxes and have scaled the project so that it fits neatly into the screen of the Note 8 when the keyboard is hidden. The problem lies when the keyboard opens. The whole screen shrinks to fit the space above the keyboard instead of staying where it was with the keyboard on top. The text entry box is located at the top of the fluid box so could be completed even if the keyboard was open over the bottom half of the screen. I’m looking for a way to stop the fluid box from reacting to the keyboard opening. Not sure if this is possible?

Most of my newer mobile eLearning designs are using fluid box rather than breakpoint. Not sure if this is what you are doing. Part of my decision making process is to ensure that I design with the potential mobile device keyboard in mind. For example text entry boxes are placed higher on the slide than I might have designed for desktop.
