keystroke shortcut to get to the next click down

I am working in Adobe Captivate 9

I am trying to advance through the parameter value column within shared action parameters. Is there a keystroke shortcut to use so I don't have to use my mouse to click down through each one?

I would think tab might be able to do it, but it isn't working that way.

TAB is what I am using and it is going to the next parameter field.

Do you know about the filtering: some dropdown lists can be very long. You can type a sequence of some letters in the field and the list will be filtered to those objects that have that sequence in the name.

Example: type 'de7' and you'l get objects/groups/variables that have 'slide7' in their name.

Thank you for the information about filtering-I am doing that now.

However, when I use tab, nothing happens.

Is there a setting on my computer or on captivate that I have set up wrong?

I don't think so, never did anything specific to have that functionality. I am on Win 7 and on Win 10.
