Question

Knowledge Check caption states not exporting for translations

When I export Project Contents and Closed Captions to send to translations, the captions don't seem to export. To be more clear, the boxes that pop up to give the learner feedback on their answer.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting I missed?

If these don't translate, it may be a dealbreaker.

Hey there! I’ve run into this before — super frustrating.

One thing to check: if the feedback text (like “Correct” or “Try Again”) is still the default, sometimes it won’t show up in the export. Try customizing that text slightly and then re-exporting — that usually forces it to be included.

Also, make sure you’re exporting both project content and captions, just to be safe.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the response!

Unfortunately, that didn't seem to help. I even tried it on a brand new project with only a single knowledge check slide. I adjusted all the text in the caption states and even changed the text in the default transparent state. The exported doc doesn't show any sign of these for translations.

I'm sure there must be a way to fix this because people all over are using it successfully.
