Learners get a pass but with a lower score than passing grade

Question

Hi,

We have a passing grade of 80 for learners to achieve a pass/complete. But our LRS/LMS shows that learners are still able to get a pass with scores less than 80 and sometimes even achieving more than 100. The SCORM is designed by a vendor using Captivate and they suggest there is nothing wrong with the configurations.. Can someone guide me through this please.

I would also like to add that this happens in multiple seatings by the learner. We do not observe this when the learner completes it in 1 session.

Your first step is to take the SCORM module supplied by your developer and upload it to a different LMS to test.  We always suggest you use SCORM Cloud online LMS for this test because they have the reputation of being the most SCORM-compliant LMS on the planet.  If you see the same results in SCORM Cloud, then your issue might be with the SCORM module.  If on the other hand you don't see the same issue, then the problem is most likely with your own LMS.
