Learning about LMS and Captivate?

Hello,

I'm new to Captivate and want to learn more about how it works with an LMS.  Right now, I give a colleague my file and she puts it in the LMS.  However, I frequently make mistakes on the publishing settings because I'm not familiar with what each file type does and more importantly, the "why".  Can anyone recommend a class that teaches you about how Captivate and LMS s interact.  Something like "LMS 101: from inception to modern practice" .  I'd prefer an online class.
