Learning Interactions

Hi I am trying to add a learning interaction in my course. I am using the Accordition interaction. I have set the timer to Rest of the slide. However when I publish the course the animation plays for a few seconds and fades away.  Need help to resolve this.

Thanks

Leena

I answered by mail, but it seems not to have been received by the Jive forums.

You have to know that most Learning interactions (and widgets) are Static. This is the case for the Accordion widget which you used. The consequence is that static interactions do not have the functionality to pause a slide. You could extend the slide duration, but how will you estimate how much time the learner will need to explore the content of this interaction? It is much better to add an interactive object (click box or button) that does pause the slide (default pausing time of 1,5secs is fine) and leave the slide duration at 3 secs. That (shape) button could be labeled 'Continue' and the learner will take as much time as needed before clicking that button.

How long is the timeline set for on the slide itself?
