Leave right allocations in a drag-and-drop for next try

As the title says:

I made a somewhat complex drag and drop feature with 5 targets and 24 parts to be dropped there. Each target has one right part, so 19 are rong. It is unlikely that someone solves it in one or even only a few tries.
So it would be great if there is a way that the user can check it and the right allocations would stay and only all wrong wil reset. Actual all allocations are reset.

Still using Captivate 8. Possible that I will change to 2017 if this will work with it, so if this is so tell me.
Read some things about the drag-and-drop-feature like the article from Lilybiri here: Custom Failure Messages/Attempts - Drag&Drop - Captivate blog but what I need is something different.

Correct answer Lilybiri

You are talking about my blog. I have to disappoint you, there are no changes for D&D in 2017. Still, D&D can be used as Knowledge or as real Quiz slide.  The Reset however will always reset all drag actions, no way to keep the correct actions.

What has changed in D&D since versio n8 are the InBuilt states for D&D objects.  Maybe they could help you in a way. Have a look at another blog post:
