line drawing simulation

Is there a way to simulate drawing a circle or box around an object or text (from left to right or vice versa) an object in Captivate as opposed to having them fade in or out?  I've seen this done on several online tutorials but I'm unable to identify an effect that would simulate that type of movement in Captivate.

You see that in videos made with Camtasia or Video Xpress. Captivate has not such a drawing circle. You can use any other effect, not only fade in/out. Did you look in the Emphasis category? For SWF output only there are also animations in the Gallery.

Yes, I've used some of the effects in the emphasis category in other instances, but the effects listed are too pronounced and don't provide the subtle effect that I would like to incorporate for this particular learning event.
