Link not working

Hi All -
I have a movie of about 300 slides. Since MenuBuilder is so bad, I used the first slide of my movie to create a menu, with links jumping to other slides within the movie. After I publish it, I click a link and it opens a blank page. If I rewind and click another link, all works well. It doesn't matter which link I pick, whenever it's the first one I pick I just get a blank page with the movie skin and that's it.
Any ideas?

    I'm guessing what you are seeing here is a simple matter of download speed and whatnot. Are you using the preloader? If so, it works by waiting until 60% of your movie is loaded to the browser before play commences. So let's say your menu option being clicked points to a slide beyond that initial 60%. If you click it before the data for the slide has arrived, you will likely get a blank screen. Probably the second attempt works because the data finally streamed down to the PC.

    And by the way, 300 slides? You really should consider paring that down to perhaps a maximum of 100. I normally recommend between 50-65 as an upper limit. But that varies from project to project. Hopefully you also aren't keeping this project on a network drive.
