Linking Google Sheet to Captivate

Hello again.

After countless hours, I'm posting a similar unsolved problem.  I want to get a value from a Google sheet and assign it to a variable in Captivate.  Does anyone have an idea to do this?

I have found ways to send values to Google sheet (see elearningbothers .

But I need to retrieve a value from the Google sheet cell and assign it to a variable.

Any help is much appreciated.

    The leaderboard example does get values from the sheet and populate CP variables.
