Linking Master / Parent Projects and Child Projects

I have a Master Project which serves as a Menu List. The Master project are actually made of  powerpoint slides that has graphics, diagrams and texts. I put on clickboxes to the master project which will OPEN ANOTHER PROJECT.  Each published child projects are stored in the callees folder of the Published folder of Master project. I successfully linked the master to the child projects.

Example:

Master Project

               - links to  Project 1

               - links Project 2

               - links Project 3

I understand that it is not possible in captivate to link back the child project to back the master project. Example is linking Project 2 back to the Master Project.

I understand that it is only one way direction.  However, my objective is I really want the child project to be able to link back to the Master Project so that the end user can be able  to choose another option to view another project like Project 2 or Project 3 depending on what he clicks.

My work around is at the last slide of the child projects - I will  create a text caption with a Home link to return to the master project.  I will insert a url.  For example is the text caption says "Click the Home link to return to the lesson list".  This text caption will be placed at the last slide of all the child projects

Is this a correct method? will it work?  I dont have access to web server at the moment.

Why can't you link back to the Master from any of the child projects?
