Linking of projects

Hi  Can you please advise me on how to link projects.

I created a presentation project and wanted to link this to a software simulation using the button action I linked this to go to another project, selected the project.  However when I published I found that the link did not work.  Am I missing something, should I have done something else to link to the project.  Any help appreciated.

I am using Captivate 8

    When uploading the files you have to make sure that the hierarchy is the same as when you linked to the cptx project, but now for the published files. You didn't tell which type of output you create?

    Thanks for letting me know.

    I published to computer using SWF - Flash Player 10 - when sending to client I will make it SCORM compliant.  They are unable to use HTML5 format as they don't have IE9
