Linking to another project

I'm trying to set up a series of four quizzes, with each (other than the last) linking to the next quiz in succession. Seems simple enough. Upon successfully hitting a click box, the project is asked to open the next project. I've put the four quizzes in the same folder on my network drive, and each has been saved and published.

However, when I click the linked click box, I get an error message telling me that Captivate can't find the referenced project in the temp directory on my C drive. Since I browsed to the network folder when setting up the link, why is Captivate looking on my C drive?

If anyone can help, much appreciated. Dan, Portland OR.

    Hi Krismus

Is your project published as .SWF or .EXE format?

Captivate is probably looking on your C:\ drive because you told it to do so. Be sure that you don't use drives in your path statements. Come to think of it don't use paths at all ... just use the elipses to select the movie you want to play, and leave all path information off.

Have you tried just using Project > Preferences > End Options to go to the next movie when this one is completed? Again, avoid paths and just make certain that all files in your project are in the same folder.

Let us know if this is any help Dan.
