Question

LMS(from Adobe) and an extern Homepage

Hey guys,

i wanna upload a quiz on my private homepage and synchronize the results of them via LMS. Is it possible to upload the quiz (which i made by adobe captivate)

on a LMS-Page and the users can do the quiz on my homepage?

Currently, i would include a link from my page to the LMS-Page, but it would be way more consistent if they can do the quiz directly on the private page.

Best regards,

Chris

Hey,

ty for the response. I had to think about how i can describe my intention well.

Ive got a sample of quiz which are not interacting with each other. Each quiz has on average 30 sheets which are connectet via the "answer"-buttons.

On my webpage i want to sell a learningsoftware. To use them, they have to register on my page and after they bought it, they get access to the link (on my webpage) to use the software via html5. I would like to do the same with the quiz so it is consistent. I dont like the fact, that they have to click on a element on my page where they get transfered to another page(LMS) with another webdesign.

If its possible via Javascript and(?) changing the Scorm API and(?) imsmanifest, than i should order an information scientist to do that step?

It's complicated and if you do not know what an imsmanifest or SCORM API are, it would be all but impossible to explain a workflow to you.

It can be done, but you would need to write JavaScript to do it. How did you build the course in Adobe Prome?

Why is it that you want to do what you are asking?

Depending on the LMS, you can link to your page on your server in the imsmanifest.xml file that you use to import the course in the LMS.

Not sure if that is exactly what you are after.

You could also use a web object and link to your quiz. But you would need to make SCORM calls from your quiz to the parent page that contains the SCORM API.

I would use the LMS from Adobe: Captivate Prime.

There are some terms you are using which i dont know like "imsmanifest.xml" or "Scorm API".

I think thats the reason why i dont get the meaning of your comment, sorry for that.

I think an example would solve this problem:

Jonathan Little practices poker with ICMizer's SNG Quiz 2 - YouTube

From minute 1:03, you can see a window on a private homepage where the moderator is doing a quiz. The progress of the is in on the top right and the results of that will be synchronized, after he finished it.

I also want to have a quiz like that, but without a LMS, i dont know how i could synchronize the results of the user.

Is this kind of quiz(a little bit more simplifit) possible with a LMS in the "background" or does the users definately has to go to the lms-page to do the quiz and get there results?

Hope i could explain my problem now a little bit better

Best Regards,

Chris
