LMS scores not recording accurately

I'm using Captivate 8 and have created quiz slides, each slide allows two or three attempts depending on the number of choices. I have it set to allow the user to retake the quiz up to three times. For a year or so, the record of the users' scores in the Blackboard LMS does not accurately reflect the score the users earn. To work around, I have the users send me a screen shot of the quiz results page if they notice their score has not recorded correctly. This means three or four emails out 45 users for each of 12 lectures.

I have the "send data on every slide" checked so I can try to look for a record of their answers. Sometimes it is available and the score just doesn't reflect the data the LMS has acquired. Other times, the LMS has a record of the user accessing the lecture and spending anywhere from 2 minutes to 35 minutes on the lecture but with no recorded scores. It happens with all browsers and seems random.

Does anyone know what might cause the lack of communication between the Cp 8 project and the LMS? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks,

Sally

Are you saying that this only happens with three or four of 45 or that it happens and others do not send a screen grab?

It sounds like an intermittent connection with Blackboard. We use Blackboard regularly and have had several issues similar to yours.

What version of SCORM?
