Looking for a program that stores custom text to quick paste in repetitive coding....

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone has used something that allows you to customize preset repetitive coding tags and blocks of code for quick and painless scripting?

For example: Actionscript 2 for Flash had a really awesome feature that allowed you to select the Actions panel and hit "Esc + s + t" and it would auto-populate a stop(); script in the Actions panel.

Am wondering if anyone uses something like this that's an independent program that allows this type thing. Would love to be able to use something like that with Captivate for JavaScript. I'm a lousy typer and a lot of my time is spent looking through code for simple typing mistakes.  =(

Thanks,

Dan

I suspect Lilybiri is spot on.

However, this strikes me as a question that really has no category. Probably not even related to any Adobe product.

You might, however, be interested in a small utility named ClipMate. I've used it before and found it useful.

I think you posted this in the wrong forum, this is the Captivate forum.

Make a library of your proven scripts in a Word doc, or better yet a js file in Dreamweaver.
