Losing ability to change image button

Hi, I really hope someone can help me.

I'm getting a really annoying issue where periodically my ability to change a button to an image button stops. Essentially what happens is I go to the file to select the image, but nothing comes through. It works at first fine for a while, but seems to stop once I've closed down Captivate and come back to it a couple of days later.

I've contacted support on this before and they said that my project was corrupted, so I had to save it again as a new file (annoying), but this has started happening all of the time now, I'm on v4 of my current project at the moment purely because of this.

Has anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it?

Thanks

Andy

Using Captivate 9.0.0.223

PS. This is my first time posting so if I've asked this wrong or something, sorry!

Saving the file under another name will not solve the corruption. Only copy/paste to a new blank file, in small bunches can help.

Do you clear the cache regularly? Do you launch Captivate as administrator? Maybe try to clear the Preferences folder?

This type of issue is not listed, but installing the hot fix (to 9.0.0.230) will not 'hurt': Hot fix | Adobe Captivate 9 issues

Hi Lilybiri

Thanks for the response

Apologies, I worded my original post incorrectly. Yes, what I need to do to correct this is to open a new blank doc and copy everything over, then sort the Master slides out again. It's a bit of a pain!

If I'm honest, I never clear my cache until you just advised it, so it's clean now at least I guess.

Re the hot fix, do you suggest going back to 9.0.0.230 as I'm currently running 9.0.0.223?

Thanks again

9.0.0.223 is the first release, after the hot fix it is 9.0.0.230.
