1: You can't duplicate a question. There is no copy slide feature when it is a question, this must be changed. This makes branching extremely difficult, to make an adaptive test I have to Write EVERY question multiple times.

2: Since you can't copy a question, there should be able to make a template question or something, there isn't.

3: After making 30 separate questions (removing the buttons I don't want one question at a time, and setting my failure captions) if I go into quiz manager to change something, it REINSERTS all the buttons I have removed. So each time I use quiz manager (even if it is to change the email address on reporting) it resets all my back buttons etc. In summary: if you are going to have quiz manager overwrite all individual slide settings EVERY time you click ok, then at least have ALL the settings that the individual slides have under the Edit Question tabs ALSO inside the quiz manager.

Please report this to the Bug page so that everyone will benefit from corrective action.

Have you tired importing a quiz? You just make a one slide template and then import that. See if that works.

I turned off most of the slide buttons fro navigation and I don't use the navigation bar at all since it won't go away on the cover page and Quiz slides. I just use Back and Next buttons and copy them to every slide. The quiz buttons are indeed married to the Quiz slides.

Quiz Manager has labels for the default buttons buttons. Did you remove the default checkmarks on each quiz under the Options tab? I can go into Quiz Manager and then back out and there is no reset. I do have labels for every button in Quiz Manager.

I name my slides and I never use the slide numbers. So Cover is labeled as such and Quiz1 is labeled as such, Etc. That way I can move them around and maintain the links without worrying about Captivate maintaining the links..

It is possible that you have a specific sequence of settings that is causing this. Perhaps you could post a link to your CP file and let the folks here take a look at one example. Something with a few slides and two or more quizzes.
