Managing links to external websites

I want to end some slides with links to related websites.

When I preview the links in a browser, the links work as expected but when I click the back button to return to the module, the module returns to the first slide rather than to the slide on which the link was placed. Is there a way to change that or to have the link open in it's own window so that users can return to the slide they left?

The link is created using a Smart Shape with the Action - Open URL or file.

    Hello,

    In addition to Lilybiri's answer:

Be careful if you are in captivate 9 or before, it's better to create an advanced action, indeed, the basic actions continue reading the project when you click on your button.

If you are on version 10 (2017) no problem, just make sure you have the box "Continue Playing the Project" unchecked, as on the screenshot of Liybiri.

Sorry to make a small correction; since CP9 it is possible to uncheck the option Continue Playing Project, as I did in the screenshot. Your warning is only valid for versions before CP9. The explanation to be foun d:

Why choose Standard over Simple action? - Captivate blog
