Manifest and Quiz - Settings (IDs)

I just want to clarify the Manifest and Quiz Settings.

The Manifest requires a Course Identifier and a SCO Identifier.  For example, I have used 'WebAppAssessment' for both.  Is this ok to use the same for both, or should

they be different?  (I understand if I was using multi-SCOs I would need to use different SCO Identifier for each SCO, but this is not the case).

The Quiz Settings requires an Interaction ID Prefix.  For example, I have again used 'WebAppAssessment' here.  Then each question requires a Interaction ID, generated

by default by the system with a few numbers.  Should I be changing the defaulted numbers to perhaps something more in order?  Or what affect does it have anyway if they

are changed?

My captivate file is a simple 10 question quiz, the settings I have are working with the LMS and I am just now looking into pulling reports from the LMS.  As an additional

piece of information, I would like to be able to report which questions learners have failed on - so I am guessing having some kind of numbering system for each question

interaction ID would be helpful.

Any advice?

Thanks

It's usually regarded as best practice to make the Course ID at least slightly different to the SCO ID, even if you only have one SCO.  I usually have something like Course_Name as the Course ID and Course_Name_01_SCOName as the first SCO.  This naming convention allows me to easily differentiate between the SCOs and the course itself.

Then I use Course_Name_01_Quiz as the Interaction ID Prefix and allow Captivate to generate the numbering for itself. If you want, you can change the numbers to something of your own making, as long as they remain unique.  The idea is to make it easier to identify which item is which in reports from the LMS (if your LMS reports go to that level - most do not).
