Manifest file doesn't publish

Hi, I'm trying to publish a handful of modules, and while I've published 5 modules successfully, one will not publish with the Manifest file. I'm not doing anything differently (that I know of!). Any thoughts? I'm using Captivate 8.

Thanks!!

It used to be, with older versions of Captivate, that a imsmanifest file wouldn't be published if there were no scored interactions included in the piece.

I think that was fixed around version 5...

BUT may be worth a check. Any scored interactions (i.e. Quiz Slides or otherwise custom tracked/scored interactivity) in your piece?

If not, include one (i.e. 'Click Here to Begin' button on the first slide, and score that button), publish, and see if that works?

Alternatively, are you publishing to a .zip file? If not, try that and see if a manifest is included...

There may also be something in your project that is fouling things up.

Try taking a copy of the project and hiding half the slides then republishing.  If that works, the issue must be in one of the slides you hid. If it still shows the issue, try hiding the other half of slides and testing.  If hiding slides makes no difference, try deleting out Advanced Actions and Variables to see if the issue could be related to one of those.

RodWard - there definitely could have been. Glad the quiz settings worked and I didn't have to make additional changes! Thanks for your response.

thank you, Erik - this worked! i enabled the quiz reporting for the project under publish settings, even though there isn't a quiz for this module.
