Master slide view disappear after overlay slide being played

Hi, I've seem losing my master slide which showcase the content menu after showing the overlay slide. So I have two overlay slide that I want to show up on the slide that contain video. The first overlay slide works nicely, the video stop and it shows the overlay slide content with blurry background of the current slide  (disclaimer: my master slide contain the menu button as header and a footer) but after clicking next button to the next overlay slide, the background of the content menu which is the header on that slide is disappearing, after I click next button again which refer to going back at the bookmarked on the video, the content menu as header is completely disappear but the footer is still remain visible. Can anyone suggest what's happening here? really need help to resolve this problem. Thank you.

    I have the same thing going on. This happens when I am on an overlay slide and I jump directly to another overlay slide in that group... or just directly to any slide. When I do this, the background of my custom TOC menu disappears. When I look at the style values with the inspector, it should be visible. But it is not.

    A rather important detail is lacking: which version do you use?  The full version number can be found under Help, About Captivate. Since you talk about master slides, I suspect you are on one of the many versions under the common name of 'CP2019' but terminology can be tricky. If I am correct you are busy with a slide with an inserted slide video.  May I offer you a blog post which I created about those overlay slides - content and knowledge check?

    Thanks for replying. I was using the captivate classic ver 11.8. Yes, i am trying to use the overlay slide but it shows error (some assets from the master slide is dissapearing when we click into the next slide).
