Master Slides and Software Simulations

Newbie here.  I have created master slides/template that I will use as introduction, transition, quiz, summary slides with a software simulation.  I have recorded the software simulation (demo and assessment).  How do I insert my template slides into the simulation OR do I need to insert my simulation into a project already created with my master slides?

    This is what I do.  I create a template file, add my title, instructions, table of content config, skin color, menu slide, summary slide, end slide, etc. I just go to the settings or preferences and configure all I need (recording, SCORM, etc.). I save the template, then I create a new project from Template and use the saved template.

    My new project has all the slides that I created or defined in the template.  I just go to where I want to insert my simulation and start recording.  Since you already have a project and a simulation, just copy all the simulation slides and paste them in your project.  If you only have simulation, just insert your slides at the beginning middle or end of your sim.

    I've done a lot of sims this way (via a Template) and I reuse it for all my sims projects.  I also have a CBT template (for Powerpoint import) configured similarly.  I hope this helps.

      Sorry to tell, but using a template file (cptl) is to be avoided for

      several reasons. A Custom theme is what you need. Search on my blog for

      Blog has tins of use cases for advanced and shared actions, including good

      practice tips, often lacking in most videos.

      It is also perfectly possible to capture software slides in an existing

      project. But they will be in the resolution of that project.

      Software simulation will always use the blank master slide. You cannot

      impose another master slide. Can you explain exactly and in detail what you

      want to have changed after the capture?
