matching questions

In a matching question, when the user matches item on the left column to the ones on the right, think lines appear connecting them. Is there a way to remove those lines? Or manipulate them so they can be closer to the items? I either want to remove them or be able to make them more apparent. Thanks!

    The lines connect the ENDS of the answer option captions. So if you want the lines to move closer to the ends of the answers you need to shorten the answer caption boxes.

    There is no option to format the colour of the lines or remove them.

    You might be better off trying a different kind of matching assessment, e.g. a drag and drop interaction.
