Hello friends.     I have a problem. I have macromedia captivate 1. I'm creating a project over the type of blank images and I have a problem when inserting audio. Audio is in wav format, it does not want to take a different format. The problem is that when you play just one frame audio works only when I will play the entire presentation has not sound. What did i do wrong? Advise please. Thank you for your help

Mysiatko.

Are you certain you are using Captivate version 1?  This program is now VERY old and no longer supported by Adobe on any modern operating system.  I don't know of any Captivate developers that are still using version 1, so debugging this issue will be very difficult.

Thank you for answer. Yes i know, but we have in the school this old version, newer not and it must be in this old version. I did it in version 5 and it goes without problems, but it can't be in new version. You know, modern education

So solve can be make this in old operating system.

Thanx, Have a nice day

From memory, Captivate 1 came out around October 2004.  So you may be able to run it in Windows 2000 (if you still have it) or Windows XP in compatibility mode.

Your issue may be due to audio driver conflicts.  But it also may simply be due to something you have not done correctly in adding audio into your course.

Did you add audio one slide at a time?  Or did you add one large audio file to the entire course and then time the slides to synchronise with this audio?
