Hi all,

I am researcher and I want to create survey in Adobe Caprivate 9 that allow to measure amount of time that people need to provide the answer. For example, I need to measure time on the moment that one slide apears to the moment that user click answer and automaticly went to the next slide. Can you help me with that? Looking for forward.

Kind regards,

Michael Sande

Correct answer Lilybiri

Measuring and showing the time is possible, either with shared/advanced actions or with the timer/hourglass interactions.

Here is an old article: Display Time information - Captivate blog

In this post I used the now removed widget Timer, but the hourglass/timer interactions are bit similar:

Timer widget... to stress your learners - Captivate blog

More important is: do you want to transfer that information to a LMS?

Thank you for help. Yes I want to measure & save Reaction Time for every slide and every user. Users do not need to see their own reaction time.

In that case you have to be sure that the LMS can capture values of user variables, and store the durations on each slide in user variables.
