Menu Slide resets when re-visited - Captivate 9

Question

Hi Everyone,I am fairly new to Captivate and so far have been really impressed.The one issue I have had is that a module I have created has 4 elements. The user selects which chapter they want to do and then upon completing that chapter they return to the menu in order to select the chapter they wish to complete next. I have created actions so that when the user returns to the menu, the chapter they have completed appears blanked out so they can see their progress.The problem I have is that whilst it shows the most recent chapter completed as blanked out, the others reset to not being blanked out. It is like the slide is re-loading and the object states are resetting. Is there any way to stop this happening?Thanks,Tom

Yes the object states will reset. You sound like you may be coming from a Storyline background where this issue is controlled by a different method.

In Captivate, if you want the menu slide to look a certain way according to which sections have been visited then you'll need to use some variables and Conditional Advanced Actions.

Could you post a screenshot of the action you are using? Also tell which event is triggering that action, please.
