Menus when exporting to Flash

When I export my project as an exe file the menu appears at the bottom as it should, however when I export that same project as a set of swf files the menu does not appear. What can I do to correct this?

Welcome to our community, LonestarDan

How are you presenting the output when you create .SWF? Normally one points at the associated .HTM page and it all works. But if you are only pointing at a .SWF, you need to point at the one that ends in _skin.SWF in order to see the playback control.
