Meta tags

In "Project Information" you can add a set of information such as Author: Company etc. I would like to use the "Desription" field to fill in Tags. I would then like to publish the files in an MP4 format. Next thing is that I would the like to be able create an application, that scans a drive for files with the particular Tag.

Anyone knows if this is possible?
